Composites for Advanced Mass PRoduction of Energy Storages
The CAMPRES project (Composites for Advanced Mass PRoduction of Energy Storages) is an innovative initiative aimed at developing cutting-edge composite materials intended for the mass production of battery boxes. The ambition is to combine structural weight reduction, cost and production time reduction, high performance, safety, and economic convenience, with a modular and flexible approach that enables and enhances the potential circularity of battery applications.
CAMPRES
The CAMPRES project (Composites for Advanced Mass PRoduction of Energy Storages) aims to define a modular architecture that offers flexibility in the design of Energy Storage, to meet the needs of different usage scenarios and to facilitate more efficient installation. The materials used are developed to be fire-resistant and to ensure a good level of protection in the event of fires or thermal runaway of the batteries. The proposed concept promotes the circular economy of the battery box materials and the second-life management of the batteries.
